Blaze Up Up and Away - May 2026

28 May 2026

What a fantastic morning we had at Blaze with our β€œUp, Up & Away!” theme! πŸŽˆβ˜€οΈ

We packed the session with parachute games, archery, Nerf guns, crafts, prizes, and plenty of ice lollys to keep everyone cool in the sunshine! 🍦🎯πŸͺ‚

We also heard a brilliant short talk from Tim about a Β£20 note β€” even when it gets crumpled, dirty, or worn it never loses its value. Just like us, our value to God never changes, no matter what life throws at us or what we do. ✝️

Look out for our next BLAZEFEST morning in the summer - you won’t want to miss it 😎🀩

Community B-B-Q 2025

15 September 2025

On Saturday 13th Sept 2025, we welcomed around fifty people into our building for a wonderful BBQ. The food was amazing, the children enjoyed playing games, and it was great to see people catching up and getting to know others from the community.

We're already looking forward to next year's BBQ!

Dedication

28 July 2025

In July 2025, we had a wonderful time celebrating the dedication of Ezra. Tim and Sarah's family joined with our church family to thank God for a precious new life and to pray for Ezra.  Guests also enjoyed coffee and cake after the service! A huge 'thank you' to Peter Burns, Minister of Nailsea Baptist Church for leading the dedication and sharing how we can all know God through having child-like faith.

Jesus said, β€œLet the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” (Matthew 19:14).

Chew Valley Trip 2025

21 July 2025

Being a church community is about more than just a Sunday. In July 2025, we enjoyed a trip to Chew Valley Lake for Fish & Chips and a gentle walk.

It was a beautiful, sunny day and a great opportunity to catch up with friends and get to know one another better.

Holiday at Home

10 July 2025

Every summer, we hold 'Holiday at Home' in Nailsea (June) and Backwell (July). This is a brilliant opportunity for guests to enjoy games, crafts, drama, scrumptious food, and good company over two or three fun-filled days. Please get in touch if you or someone you know would be interested in attending.

One guest commented, "The food was great and the company was good. The volunteers were extremely helpful!"  Another guest commented, "It was very well organised and from the minute we arrived we were made to feel welcome."

Guests and volunteers are already looking forward to Holiday at Home next year!
